The short version
We keep what the service needs to work and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we never see your card or wallet details — those go straight to the payment provider.
What we store, and why
- Your account — name, email address and a hashed password. Needed to sign you in and to tell you about your own payments.
- Your membership — which plan, when it expires, credits and bandwidth left. This is what the service checks on every download.
- Payments — amount, currency, provider, the provider's reference, and status. We keep these as financial records; we never receive or store card numbers, wallet keys or PayPal passwords.
- Downloads — the address you pasted, the site it belonged to, whether it succeeded, and your IP address. Used to enforce daily limits, to spot abuse, and to find out which sites are broken.
- Usage totals — how many bytes were served to you, so the fair-use allowances can be counted.
- Messages you send us — support tickets and broken-site reports, including a snapshot of your plan at the time you wrote, so we can see what you saw.
How long we keep it
Your IP address is cleared from download records after 30 days, and the records themselves are deleted after 400 days. That happens on a schedule, not on request. Payments are kept longer because they are accounting records.
Deleting your account deletes the rest with it — downloads, usage, messages and reports all go at the same time. You can do that yourself from your profile page; it is immediate and we cannot undo it.
Who else is involved
- PayPal and NOWPayments process payments. They receive what they need to take the money and tell us it arrived; each has its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site and sees request traffic, which is how the site stays reachable and is protected from attack.
- Our own servers fetch the video from the source site. The source site sees our server, not you.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it. We will disclose it only where the law that applies to us obliges us to, and we will tell you when we are allowed to.
Cookies
We set a session cookie so you stay signed in, and a token that protects forms from being submitted by other sites. Both are necessary for the service to function. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Your choices
You can change your name and email on your profile page, ask us for a copy of what we hold, or delete your account outright. For anything else, write to support@pastedownload.com.
Children
This service is not for children. Some sites in the catalogue carry adult content, and accounts are for people old enough to enter a contract where they live.
