Changelog

Sites change how they serve video, and downloads break. This is what we repaired, added or sped up, with the date it happened.

September 2026

  1. Fixed 12*****

    Premium video source working again

The source rotated the domain its video CDN runs on, which stopped our direct downloads. Direct MP4 at 720p is back, and the matching rule now follows the rotation instead of breaking on the next one.

  2. Improved youtube.com

    YouTube downloads start much faster

Processing could take over a minute while we negotiated a player that YouTube had quietly moved away from. We now ask for the client that still returns the full quality ladder, so the wait before your file appears is a fraction of what it was.

  3. Fixed youtube.com

High-resolution YouTube files no longer fail near the end

Merging video and audio for the larger resolutions could fail part-way through. The merge now streams both tracks straight through, so the download completes.

  4. New

Bandwidth top-ups are open to Basic

Extra high-definition bandwidth used to be a Pro-only purchase. Basic members can buy it too, without upgrading the whole plan.

  5. New

    Auto-renewing subscriptions with PayPal

You can now let a membership renew itself instead of buying each month by hand. Cancelling is one click from your dashboard and takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.

  6. Improved bilibili.tv

    Bilibili downloads keep their sound

Bilibili serves video and audio as separate files, which is why copies from most tools are silent. Ours are merged before you get them, up to 1080p on Pro.

6 entries in total. Older months are folded — open one to read it.
